Retelling for Young Readers
This bilingual edition supports selected Common Core State Standards (CCSS) across Grades 4–8 through close reading, meaning-based comparison across parallel texts, and classroom discussion.
The Spanish–English format allows students to access narrative meaning across languages, supporting reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and cross-language awareness while engaging with a shared literary narrative.
Standards alignment is provided to support instructional planning and flexible classroom integration. This edition does not replace a language arts curriculum.
