Interactive activities to use after reading each section of Treasure Island (Ollada de Tinta adaptation).
There is one independent activity page for each of the five reading blocks (Chapters 1–4, 5–7, 8–10, 11–13, and 14–15 with the Epilogue), plus a Final Reflection page for the whole story, so teachers can assign them one at a time as the class reads. They also work for independent study and homeschooling.
Each reading block includes:
Understand the Story: comprehension questions
Think and Discuss: interpretation questions answered with details from the text
Vocabulary in Context: key words explained in the student’s own words, with a clue from the text
Create: a short creative or argumentative task, such as a clue record, a diary-style log or a short argument
The Final Reflection page looks back across the whole story with questions about Jim’s development and an evidence tracker.
Students type their answers directly on the page, then review them and download a PDF with their questions and answers to save or hand in. The pages also include automatic translation into Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian, which applies to the downloaded PDF as well.
